The Wild Hogs were active on the Waiver Wire after Week 2 with the acquisition of Sammy Morris to provide depth and stability at Running Back. The move comes in light of additional injuries reported to other key players.
"Sammy is the kind of guy that doesn't mind gettin' in the mud," said Coach Boss Hog of his new player. "We think he will come in and make an immediate contribution this week in our showdown with the Puffins."
First year franchise owner, Randy Olson says it's a chess match right now. "It's no secret that the Puffins and Hogs are both 0-2 heading into week #3 of the season," said Olson. "We are positioning ourselves to go hog wild this Sunday!"
Last week's waiver wire acquisition, WR Shaun McDonald, caught 7 passes in his Wild Hogs debut. "He proved he can play in this league," said Olson. "Now maybe people will quit calling him a pig."
